Good Hope FM says that the first session will see Suidoosterfees winner and Lexus Pop Classics songstress, Talitha Luiters and funk, hip-hop and rap duo, 3FACE & CEE, taking to the stage at Joseph Stone Auditorium, Athlone, on Thursday, 25 July from 19:00 to 20:00.

They'll be performing original hits and covers — bringing the vibe that has seen them packing venues all over South Africa to drive away the winter blues. They'll also be having a chat with firm crowd favourite Good Hope FM host, Chad Saaiman — giving the audience the big scoop on all the latest news in their lives and careers, says the radio station.

Luiters started singing at the age of three years old and started making massive waves at the tender age of nine, says the radio station. Luiters won the Suidoosterfees singing competition in 2018, which allowed her to sing the South African National Anthem in Parliament on live TV.

According to Good Hope FM, Luiters has also shared the stage with:

  • Karin Kortje
  • Emo Adams
  • Jarrad Ricketts
  • Jonathan Rubain
  • Craig Lucas
  • Che-V, and
  • many more.

Luiters also featured at Lexus Pop Classics in 2023 at the Sunbet Arena in Pretoria with her rendition of the Celine Dion song, All by Myself. Good Hope FM says that Luiters is currently a full-time student at CPUT and still pursues even bigger heights in her music career.

3FACE & CEE aren't your average, by-the-book hip-hop duo. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, musical soulmates Joshua '3FACE' Eagles and Cedrik 'CEE' Aberle bring a unique, genre-bending approach to their self-described intergalactic sound, says the radio station.

According to Good Hope FM, coming together professionally in 2016, the 'yin and yang' of their creative relationship uplifts their evolving artistry. The vocal contrast — coupled with their songs like 2020's Higher with You, and their disco hit Revive, which landed on the soundtrack of the Netflix show Blood & Water — has propelled the duo's local popularity.

Now the duo is setting their sights on growing a global fan base, and has been collaborating with award-winning producers D'Mile, Larrance "Rance" Dopson and J.R. Rotem, says the station.

Good Hope FM and 5FM PCS combo business manager Masixole Mdingan says, "This is one of many ways in which we aim to deepen our connection with Capetonians through local music and create powerful, face-to-face engagement opportunities for our clients."

"This year, we will be taking Saaiman Says Live Sessions to places such as Joseph Stone Auditorium, the Ghoema Theatre and Roxy Revue Bar to create a truly Cape Town's original experience," concludes Mdingan.

Individuals are encouraged by Good Hope FM to download the Good Hope FM app or e-mail [email protected] to reserve their spot. Entrance to the event is free, but due to high demand, booking is essential.
